TAKEOVER LEVELS & PERKS

T1 - Lieutenant

LEVEL MEANING:

Our default creator status is level T1. T1 creators are allowed to attend all T1 level events. 

What to expect:

Larger group settings with a more organic shooting structure.

Events will consist of free form rotation while working with models. T1 is our Takeover base tier and as a result a creator’s lowest cost of entry.

Events in the T1 tier will have a challenge associated with each event. All challenges are reviewed in post during our zoom recaps.

All members of The Photo Takeover site are automatically assigned T1 status.

 

T2 - Colonel

LEVEL MEANING:

Our second level of creator status is T2. T2 creators are allowed to attend all T2 and T1 events. 

What to expect:

Small – Medium group settings with a more rigid shooting structure.

Events will consist of a theme with an encouraged personal concept structure. This structure will afford each T2 creator more time to work with one another to flesh out concept and execution with more distinction.

T2 creators are also encouraged to invite teams to help see their concepts to fruition by purchasing tickets.

All T2 level creators receive a 20% discount on all T1 events for their respective roles – ie. Photographer, Videographer, Model, MUA, Designer, Stylist.

Events in the T2 tier will have a theme and various challenges associated with each event. All challenges are reviewed in post during our zoom recaps.

T2 status is only given to those passing T2 advancement. See Requirements Below.

 

T3 - General

LEVEL MEANING:

Our third level of creator status is T3. T3 creators are allowed to attend all T3, T2 and T1 events. 

What to expect:

Very small and intimate group settings with a pre-decided shooting structure.

Events will consist of a theme with personal shooting concepts. T3 creators will now have the option of requesting direct themes and challenges as well as participating in T3 exclusive podcasts, channel streams, and paid opportunities. T3’s are first on-call for

T3 creators are also encouraged to invite teams to help see their concepts to fruition by purchasing tickets.

All T3 level creators receive a 20% discount on all T1 events and 10% on all T2 events for their respective roles – ie. Photographer, Videographer, Model, MUA, Designer, Stylist.

LEVEL UP REQUIREMENTS

t2 level up process

REQUIREMENTS:

10 image submission with final score of 75 or higher. 

How to begin:

Prerequisite:
Must have attended at least 3 T1 events in order to begin. Candidacy must be announced to the high table at the next following T2 event after accumulating 3 T1 event attendances.

After announcing candidacy:
Must submit 10 individual images ( at least 6 images from Takeover sessions and 4 from your own portfolio)

Submissions must be made within 30 days.

Judging Criteria:

Lighting
Composition
Posing
Creativity
Intention

Each image will be worth 10 points, broken down into the 5 above categories, judged by 2 points of available achievement per category.

10 images will be judged with 5 categories at 2 points per category, totaling 100 points available for achievement. Each submission must be accompanied by a one paragraph statement for each image explaining each categorical item above. Each judge will score separately and then have their individual scores totaled and averaged  for a final candidate score.

Passing Score:
75%

Missing the Mark:
Candidates are restricted from reapplying for 3 months following submission. Candidates can notify their attempt for candidacy again at the next T2 event following the 3 month ineligibility.

Post Level Up:
All passing candidates will be upgraded to T2 status at the next available T2 event and will have perk access begin for all events which follow.

 

T3 LEVEL UP PROCESS

REQUIREMENTS:

10 image submission with final score of 80 or higher. 

How to begin:

Prerequisite:
Must have attended at least 3 T2 events post T2 upgrade in order to begin. Candidacy must be announced at the first T1 event of the month. 

After announcing candidacy:
The High Table will provide each candidate with one specific test from which at least 2 images per judge’s test must be submitted. Each image will be judged according to the below categorical criteria.

Submissions must be made within 30 days.

An initial score will be tabulated based on submission. 

Following the initial submission a virtual discussion will be held with The High Table and the Candidate where they will discuss their thought process and directions for their submitted images. Another score will be tabulated after hearing their creative reasoning and reviewing the images and averaged with each judge’s initial score. Each resultant score will then be averaged amongst the 3 judges. 

Passing Score:
80%
